Here is the summary of eligible internship types and support available for you under the Global Ready Talent Programme.
Local Internships in Singapore Enterprises
For local internships in Singapore enterprises, Enterprise Singapore, together with Trade Associations and educational institutions, will facilitate internship placements in qualified Singapore enterprises who have been carefully screened and evaluated by Trade Associations to ensure a rewarding learning experience for you. More information on opportunities available will be disseminated via the respective educational institutions.
Under this programme, you will receive via the qualified Singapore company, a minimum monthly internship stipend of:

S$800 for NITEC/Higher NITEC and diploma students

S$1,000 for degree students
Overseas Internships
Embarking on an overseas attachment or internship is a great opportunity to expand your horizons, immerse yourself in another culture, and gain invaluable work experience. In today’s globally connected world, overseas work exposure can enrich your student experience, cultivate personal growth, and open doors to bigger opportunities in your career.
Our programme supports you in undertaking physical overseas internships in emerging markets to nurture your global aspirations.
As part of the overseas allowance, students will receive:

a one-time travel allowance of $1200, and
-
an additional subsistence allowance of $32.90 per day

As always, we encourage students to do their due diligence before embarking on internships.
To qualify for the programme, you are to undertake physical overseas internships in eligible overseas markets with a focus on Southeast Asia, India and China Emerging markets are also supported. You may refer to the list full list of eligible markets below.

The Global Ready Talent Programme will not support any overseas programmes to developed markets such as Western Europe, North America and developed Asia Pacific.
